Winter Zman — Yeshivish (English) Israel

The Stander by Dr. Shtaygen · Winter Zman · Israel

Start winter zman with a shtender your back will thank you for.

Months of back-to-back sedorim. The Stander, a heavy-duty adjustable tabletop shtender, puts your Gemara at eye level from the first seder, so hasmadah isn't a fight with your neck.

Yeshiva bochur learning Gemara at The Stander adjustable ergonomic shtender for Winter Zman

You know how zman goes

Week one, everyone sits up straight. By week six you're bent over the Gemara with a hand on your back, and the sugya isn't the only thing on your mind.

That's not a hasmadah problem. It's posture, and it's fixable before zman even gets going.

Built for long sedorim

  • Height-adjustable: the Gemara sits at eye level, sitting or standing.
  • Angle-adjustable: hours of learning without neck strain.
  • Holds a full-size Gemara securely. The joints lock, so nothing slips mid-sugya.
  • Portable tabletop shtender: works in the beis medrash, on a dirah desk or at the kitchen table.

Questions before you order

Will it arrive before zman starts?

Orders ship twice a week (Sunday and Wednesday), then door-to-door delivery takes 2–3 business days, so most arrive within about a week (a little longer in busy seasons). Or choose free pickup in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Efrat or Beit Hilkiya.

Will it fit my spot in the beis medrash?

Yes. It sits on a standard shtender, a desk or a table, and adjusts to your height.

What if it doesn't work for me?

We offer free 30-day returns within Israel.
